The case, brought under Section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916, alleges that Momoh stole an 18,000 BTU outdoor air conditioning unit, valued at 18,000 new leones, from the Judiciary of Sierra Leone.

The incident is said to have occurred on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the Law Courts Building on Siaka Stevens Street in Freetown.
