The Missionary boys today had a successful one-nil victory against arch opponents Real Friends FC to reach round of sixteen in the ongoing Western Area Football Association U -15 campaign.
The two teams were in high spirits to gain qualification to the next round.
Skipper Abu Koroma the undisputed midfield Guru scored a marvelous Captain’s goal from the center circle to put his side in front in the early stages of the first half of play that left the goalkeeper of Real Friends with no chance .
Real Friends came back from the recess to make friends by trying to restore parity in the second half but they were unlucky as the defensive line of Orthodox Fc was robust.
Abu Koroma who shows supremacy as a soldier for him to score and the goal stood till the match ends.
Head Coach Serry Billy Turay has faithfully promised to win the round of sixteen match against the Pharmacy boys ( Real Mack ).
