Sunday, 3rd October, 2021: Sierra Leone’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Professor David John Francis will energetically resume work tomorrow, Monday, 4th October 2021 after his successful tours to reposition Sierra Leone on the global platform.
Since his appointment, Prof. Francis has made inroads to strengthen bilateral relationships and to continue to solidify Sierra Leone’s excellent diplomatic relations between and among countries.
He has also recommitted His Excellency, President Dr. Julius Maada Bio’s Government to sign international treaties and open more partnerships in terms of trade, education and health among others.
In Morocco, Prof. David John Francis signed a road map cooperation for Sierra Leoneans to benefit from scholarships. He also opened an Embassy in Rabat, the Kingdom of Morocco.
Prof. Francis also engaged United Nations Deputy Secretary General, HE Amina Mohammed on promoting President Bio’s Human Capital Development trajectory.
In Senegal, he had discussions on the need to invest in Sierra Leone in a serene environment with huge opportunities.
Many people are now commending President Bio for reposing confidence in Prof. Francis as the global image of Sierra Leone.
