His Excellency Brigadier (Rtd) Dr. Julius Maada Bio, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone is scheduled to attend the EU and AU Partnership Summit which is scheduled to take place in Brussels, the Kingdom of Belgium from 17th-18th February 2022.
President Bio recently expressed desire to meet with his counterpart, the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany on the margins of the aforesaid Summit.
In an official response, the Office of the Federal Chancellor in Germany has assured that the Chancellor would avail himself for spontaneous meeting with the President of the republic of Sierra Leone in Brussels.
The meeting will be facilitated through the normal diplomatic channel.
The purpose for the meeting is to strengthen the existing cordial bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries.
