Afrimoney in partnership with Rokel Commercial Bank (RC Back) has on Friday 18th November 2022 for the “put N pull” quick and easy digital banking system in Sierra Leone.
The ceremony took place at the RC Bank Branch on Juba in Freetown.
In his statement, the Business Center Manager, Rokel Commercial Bank (RC Bank), Mr. Umaru Shyllon said that the collaboration with these two companies to launch the “put `N pul” program is a laudable one, adding that, as a leading bank in the country and Afrimoney the widest and largest network in the country, it will help both companies’ customers to get their money from their account to their wallet.
He continued by thanking Africell for giving them access to their data base, adding that, this will help their customers to make payments or withdrawal.
The Director of Finance, Mr. Abassie Thomas said that the Rokel Commercial Bank and Africell are brand names in this country, adding that he is in surprised why it’s only now this two entities is coming with such partnership.
He went on to say that it’s a very big explosion of goodness for their customers. He continued that the RC Bank has taken the lead in financial services and financial inclusion in the country, adding that, they want a smooth transfer of monetary services. He added that the partnership with Africell is a win-win for everybody.
The Director of Afrimoney, Martison Obeng Agyei said that they are very excited with the partnership, adding that, it will bring relief to their customers. He continued by urging all Afrimoney customers to start Banking with RC Bank as it will help customers to put ‘N’ pull any time.
“Our customers will not have any reason not to have banking services as where there is Africell there is Rokel commercial Bank, “he affirmed.
He disclosed that with this partnership they have opened over six thousand new branches of Afrimoney post within the country, adding that, he hope that their customers will appreciate because customer’s satisfaction is their priority.
He continued by ensuring the public that their services will be available 24-hours, adding that it will help customers to relax and do transfer or receive payment anytime, anywhere and everywhere in the country.
The Managing Director, Rokel Commercial Bank (RC Bank) Ekundayo Walton Gilpin said that their aim is to improve the financial and banking sector of the country, adding that, they have increased their financial access point where customers can cash or deposit their money in a quick simple manner.
He maintained that they are very proud to collaborate with Afrimoney, adding that, the partnership will make them more pivotal and relevant to banking in Sierra Leone.
He furthered assured the general public that this partnership between RC Bank and Afrimoney will not only be benefiting the two institutions but the country as a whole. He reiterated by appreciating both institutions for the wonderful partnership, adding that they are going to do their best and make sure its work for the good and benefit of the general public.
