The son of a veteran APC politician, Mr. Dauda Blaq Kamara has been duly elected Organizing Secretary of the APC Diaspora wing.
Mr. Dauda Blaq Kamara is a renowned philanthropist, community mobilizers and has supported the APC party greatly.
Dauda Blaq Kamara is a product of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary School at Kissy Dockyard where he started his journey as a Youth Activist promoting and inspiring pupils to focus on their academic work to attain self-reliance. His focus back then is to ensure that the nation is not deprived of the needed human resource to facilitate developmental activities in the country. Through that, he has been campaigning against the intake of harmful drugs and alcohol. He has also embarked on civic education at community level and has also empowered the grassroots on their rights and responsibilities as law abiding citizens of the country. Due to his support at the grassroots level, many people have described Dauda Blaq Kamara as an inspiration to people.
Before his departure to the United States of America, Dauda Blaq Kamara received many awards from credible National and International Institutions as an Icon in Youth Mobilization Network Activities. During his activities back home, Dauda Blaq Kamara is hailed by Youths from different domains and affiliations irrespective of their political commitments.
Dauda Blaq Kamara also maintains that: “Those of us who are serious about redeeming humanity understand that the first law of the individuals is the law of self-preservation and self-aggrandizement; this is the law of the jungle.” He added that, “The first law of Community as thought by my father is Unity and Oneness based on the principle of collective participation and cooperative.”
This is perhaps the greatest strength of Dauda Blaq Kamara even when he migrated to the USA, he became the main focus of which their future is destined. Dauda Blaq Kamara believes that as people, we have far more in common than we have in difference.
