Day in and day out, the Chief Minister of Sierra Leone continues to achieve remarkable milestones. Not only has he been recognized by the international community as one of the best young Ministers of Education, but at home, he remains dedicated to ensuring that President Bio’s vision and focus are realized.
As the Minister responsible for engaging, discussing, creating, monitoring, and supervising all ministries, his approach to ensuring excellent service delivery is commendable. Whether at home or abroad, the Chief Minister represents President Julius Maada Bio in international undertakings, particularly at the United Nations, universities, and other high-profile seminars, conferences, and meetings with socio-economic benefits. He is the first Chief Minister to secure millions of dollars without requiring paybacks. Many say his knowledge and political acumen exceed his years. Competent in various fields, from energy to agriculture, the Chief Minister plays the role of a leading figure rather than just an observer.
On June 15, 2024, the Chief Minister received a rousing welcome in his hometown of Sah Malen Chiefdom, Pujehun District. It was a homecoming fit for a celebrity. Thousands of people of all distinctions turned up, including ministers, paramount chiefs, youth groups, mask devils, women, and men of all grades. The speeches from various speakers were inspirational, patriotic, and nationalistic, culminating in a powerful display of unity.
When the Chief Minister took the podium, his speech resembled a lecture, providing compelling reasons to believe in President Bio’s ideals. He highlighted each section of governance that has been revisited and modified. Amidst all the pomp and pageantry, the Chief Minister assured the public that, indeed, YES WE CAN Deliver.
