Afrimoney has announced its partnership with Kabaka Multimedia Entertainment (KME) to host one of the biggest cultural and musical festivals in the African Continent, ECOFEST 2021, which is scheduled to take place at the National Stadium on 26th and 27th November 2021.
The company signed a memorandum of understanding with the KME on Tuesday 9th November 2021 as one of the official sponsors of the event.
Afrimoney announced that it will provide a massive advertisement, provide a digital platform for tickets to be bought via Afrimoney, provide light and other stage beatification amongst others.
Africell Media Manager, John Konteh said the sponsorship will propel Sierra Leone in a positive light during this year’s ECOFEST.
Head of Afrimoney Distribution, Marcus Berdie lauded the partnership with KME to ease the burden of getting tickets for the event. He revealed that those who want to buy a ticket should use their registered Afrimoney service by dialing *277# and a pin number (code) will be received immediately. “The code can be taken to any of our customers’ service centers across the country to get your physical tickets,” he said and furthered that those who buy their e-tickets will benefit from lots of offers like data bundle and talk time.
KME’s Chief Executive Officer, Abu BakarrTuray, commonly known as The Kabaka, assured that his company has the greatest package for entertainment in the sub-region and added that ECOFEST continues to improve every year.
He added that the Afrimoney e-ticketing service will save the burden of standing in long queues to buy tickets at the National Stadium. “Those who have received their codes should contact Skye Bank branches, Africell Offices, and other stations that will be announced soon,” The Kabaka said and furthered that the two days event will include a cultural performance with all districts represented and some local and international musicians and cultural performing artists will perform on the first day (November 26), starting at 11 A.M. The second day, which starts at 5 pm will witness the performance of other prominent local and international musicians drawn from 14 Nations in Africa, some of which include AwiloLogomba from DR Congo, Mr. P formerly of P-Squire and Rude Boy and other prominent comedians at local and international level.
Prior to the two days event, a VVIP Session will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel on the 25th of November after an entertainment conference.
