The End-Time Harvesters Evangelistic Ministries, popularly known as Zion Praise Tabernacle, situatedat Bottom Mango, back of Limkokwing College, Hill Station, Freetown on Sunday 18th April, 2020, officially ordained 16 members into various positions as Pastors, Evangelists, Ministers & Deaconesses during an auspicious ordination ceremony which was held at the Church Auditorium.
In an exclusive interview, the General Overseer of Zion Praise Tabernacle, Pastor James Bangura, expressed appreciation to God Almighty for making the ordination ceremony a reality, adding that there are some people whom God deems fit to serve in the positions as Pastors, Evangelists, Ministers & Deaconesses in the House of God disclosing that as a church they are presenting them to the congregation underscoring how it is mainly for that purpose that they are holding such an official ordination service.
The General Overseer described the ordination ceremony as a big and very important event for them as a church adding that the ordination of Pastors, Evangelists, Ministers & Deaconess is in adherence to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which calls for the expansion of the church and instilling in believers the conviction that the Great Commission is an expansion of the Creation Commission: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” and that in order for them to fulfill that aspect there is a need for appointed people to serve in specific positions in order for them to go out and popularize the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pastor James Bangura further revealed that the End-Time Harvesters Evangelistic Ministries, aka Zion Praise Tabernacle, is a Christian denomination that was established on the 17th June 2013, starting as a small group in a small building, but with commitment and support from the general membership, they were able to recently put up a massive 4,000 Seater ChurchAuditorium building.
He admonished those who will be ordained to use their different offices towards the expansion of the kingdom which, according to him, is a mandate given unto them.
In his exhortation, Rev. Moses Jude Koroma congratulated and welcomed the members who will be ordained, adding that the offices they will be occupying are actually not ones they will at times be very convenient with.
He noted that according to Philippians 1: 29 ,“for to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake”, adding that the inconveniences, influence and affluence will come but they should be ready to face some sufferings.
Rev. Moses Jude Koroma maintained that the ordination ceremony which is held by the church is in line with Matthew 9:38 which say “Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest”.
He revealed that the Holy Ghost is the power house of all the wonders in the Bible, encouraging them to depend on the Holy Ghost for wonders and power in their journey furthering that what they need to go for most is the Holy Ghost which he said will help them to overcome temptations and difficulties.
One of the members that were ordinated, Evangelist Steven Ferewa Kamara, expressed appreciation to the General Overseer of Zion Praise Tabernacle, Pastor James Bangura for his leadership qualities and for making him whom he is today, for which he said he will be always grateful.
He noted that one of his passions in his life is to participate in the work of expanding the Kingdom of God and for him to be ordained as an evangelist is a dream come true in his life.
Evangelist Steven Ferewa Kamara stated that he is aware that it is a big office that he has occupied in the House of God stating that by the grace of God Almighty and through the guidance of the General Overseer of the Ministry he will ensure that he fulfills his mandate as an Evangelist.
