Dishonesty of the SLPP regime… Diasporas Blast Pres. Bio

The Diaspora Communities in the United Kingdom (UK), the United States of America (USA) and Australia, have accused the ruling SLPP party of eroding the democratic values of the country to win the 2023 presidential election.

Mrs. Mabinty Dainkay, a Gender Empowerment and Development Campaigner in Maryland USA has decried the level of insincerity of the President Julius Maada Bio led government in the empowerment and protection of women in politics. She further blamed the SLPP led government of maltreating opposition women in politics. Madam Dainkey has urged His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio and the SLPP party to attain the gender equality which they promised whilst in opposition.

Mr. Jacob Will currently working in the NGO sector in the United Kingdom has also called on His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio and members of his cabinet to ensure prudent financial management in attaining balance economy.

“In a moment like this, developing countries need to adjust,” he lamented, adding by accusing the government of Sierra Leone of being recalcitrant in adjusting their spending in meeting the needs of the people.

“The domestic needs of the people is paramount now and stop introducing bills that are politically motivated with no economic benefits,” Mr. Will concluded.

 Mr. James Cole, of Herbart capital of Tasmania in Australia says both the Election Bill and the Proportional Representation are untimely, adding that, they have no place in the 21st century. He further expressed that it is disheartening for a small country like Sierra Leone to be entangled in many political shambles.
