To strengthen its advocacy and outreach work nationwide, the Love One Another Campaign (LOAC) on Saturday 16th July 2022 unveiled its brand new mini-bus at its Osman Thomas Avenue, Aberdeen headquarters in Freetown donated by a Good Samaritan.

In her opening statement, Rev. Mrs. Valarie Bell said the donation is a wonderful act from God, is God’s will and blessings and stressed that the mini-bus would facilitate the work of the organization for which their hearts are full of joy.

Handing over the keys of the vehicle to Rev. Dr. Lionel Betts, the Chairman of the Board of LOAC, the founder of LOAC, Dr. Christian Bell disclosed that the mini-bus is from God as the donor wants to remain anonymous and clarified that the mini-bus is the property of the trustees of LOAC.

According to LOAC, a genuine, real or unconditional love involves caring for the happiness of others without expecting anything personal in return, putting others first and caring for their highest good, that agape love is the cohesive force that binds families and people of diverse ethnicities together and that agape love can be compared to salt in a soup or cement in a building.

LOAC organizes Christmas parties for Ebola orphans in Grafton at which event school uniforms, bags, books and other items are distributed to the children and their caregivers for the past seven years in addition to offering free medical facilities to them. LOAC also makes donations to the King George’s Home for the Aged at Grafton.

LOAC has also constructed schools and Vocational Training Centers in Kono, Kenema Port Loko and other parts of the country.

Highlights of the ceremony were a conducted tour of the bus, a ride along the Lumley Beach and back to headquarters, prayers and dedication of the mini—bus.
