MASS JUMA PRAYER VACCINATION AT 555 CENTRAL MOSQUE WATERLOO.

In consistency with the Ministry of Health & Sanitation & NaCOVERC’S posture to vaccinate as much people as possible, the official Spokesperson for the COVID-19 response, Solomon Jamiru Esq and Risk Communication Lead, Harold Thomas have on Friday 17th September 2021 joined the Muslim Jamaat at 555 Central Mosque, Lumpa- Waterloo which precipitated mass vaccination of worshippers.

NaCOVERC has always, since the beginning of the fight against COVID-19, kept in mind the significant role the religious community plays and the influence it exerts on its extensive religious population. The team from NaCOVERC witnessed great reception by Sheikh Alhaji Abdul Rashid Kamara and the congregation; who happily volunteered to be vaccinated.

Following the notice that extended the time of worship in churches and mosques, NaCOVERC encourages similar display of solidarity by religious leaders and worshippers in the fight against COVID-19.
