Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee procurement activities for goods and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring the best prices and quality.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and trends.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely orders to prevent stockouts.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost control.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
- Resolve any issues related to suppliers, orders, or delivery.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Five years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices
