Sasco’s Manager Robbed

Two accused persons have made their first appearance before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba Road Court No.1 in Freetown, on Monday 8th May 2023 for allegedly robbing the manager of the popular Sierra Leone’s comedian, commonly referred to as Sasco.

The two accused persons: Musa Bangura alias Press en Start a Masonry and twenty seven years old Abubakar Conteh alias J-Z a Labourer were arraigned on four count charges to wit; Conspiracy to commit a felony contrary to law, robbery with aggravation, and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

According to the particulars of offence, on 30th March 2023 at No.6 Bangs drive Metchem Goderich, in the Western Area in Freetown, conspired together with other persons unknown to commit a felony to wit robbery with aggravation.

The particular of offense added that, the accused persons being armed with a gun, cutlass and scissors robbed Sheku Kakay the sum of ten thousand United States dollars, physical cash of one hundred and eighty Leones(180) clothing apparels valued at thirty thousand new Leones(30,000), one Bluetooth speaker valued at four thousand three hundred Leones(4,3000), one plated necklace valued at five thousand Leones(5,000), five iPhone 11 Pro max each valued at eight thousand Leones all to the total sum of forty thousand Leones(40,000) one Samsung S-10 plus mobile phone valued three thousand Leones(3,000), two infix mobile phone valued each at three thousand Leones(3,000) all to the total sum of six thousand Leones(6,000) four plasma television valued at five thousand Leones each all to the total sum of twenty thousand Leones(20,000) all to the grand total of three hundred and twenty three thousand three hundred Leones(323,300) property of Sheku Kakay manager of Sasco.

Meanwhile, Magistrate Ngegba refused bail and sent both accused persons to the Male Correctional Center in Freetown and the matter was adjourned to the 10th May 2023 for further hearing.
