WHERE IS OUR ANXIETY?
Tokyo Medal Loss, Cameroun Pending, Freetown Passion lost!

So finally, Japan has opened its golden doors to the world and more than 2000 athletes from all continent of the world grace the occasion despite the COVID-19 crunch.
Well, here we go again for the unexpected results despite the lavish praises of homemade. While some athletes in other country trained 24 month for a one day event Sierra Leone athletes with particular reference to our swimming team was only trained in Italy for two weeks for the global event before their departure.
Years long before the global competition knocked at our doors, there was evidently nothing credible at home to boast of a swimming team. How many swimming competition have been held home for a start? So, we sent the team to Italy to sleep in first class hotels, eat strange food, meet with different faces and color from all over the world, visit cathedral sites in ancient Rome, would have paid a visit to Venice to see the Shakespearean city of the Merchant of Venice of literature fame or even say farewell to the Priesthood of the Vatican before their sojourn to Tokyo.
In Tokyo, it will all end this way and we participated with a Judo all color belted team, will sent a Wrestling team with minus weight, less calories like their boxing counterparts. The next will be in Brisbane Australia in 2023. What lessons have we leant and to what solutions?
