Sierra Leone Delegation Safely Arrives in Bahir Dar City Ahead of Friendly Clash against Ethiopia

The Sierra Leone National Senior Men’s Team- Leone Stars- has this afternoon safely touched down at the Bahir Dar Airport ahead of the FIFA and CAF sanctioned Ethiopia-Sierra Leone friendly which is slated for Thursday August 26th, 2021.

The entire delegation including the Minister of Sports Ibrahim Nyelenkeh and SLFA Vice President 1 Harold Nat-Johnson has checked in at the Olive Hotel & Spa in Bahir Dar City where they were eventfully welcomed by the Hotel Management.

Also part of the officials in the delegation are the National Sports Coordinator- Lamin Sesay, North-Western Regional Secretary- Mohamed Speaking Kamara and representatives of the Sierra Leone Embassy in Ethiopia; Demba Kanji Daramy- Information Attaché, Numeh Sesay- First Secretary, Lt. Col. Alex Massaquoi- Defense Attaché and Ms. Patricia Luseni- Secretary who have been phenomenally involved in ensuring a comfortable stay for the Sierra Leone Football delegation.

The predominantly home based squad led by Assistant Coach 1 Amidu Karim will have its first training session later this evening at the Bahir Dar Stadium practicing filed and Karim, standing in for Keister plans to continue working on his boys’ level of preparedness with special attention on the two foreign based- Sheak Sorie Fofanah who plays for Al Sanaat in Iraq and German Rot Weiss Ahlen’s defender Daniel Francis.
