Sierra Leone High Commission Welcomes New Head of Chancery in Banjul
The High Commissioner of the Sierra Leone High Commission in Banjul, The Gambia, Her Excellency Martha Kanagbo, along with the staff of the Mission, officially welcomed the new Head of Chancery, Madam Khadijatu Eunice Alpha, on Wednesday, 23rd April 2025.
In her welcome address, High Commissioner Kanagbo expressed her delight at Madam Alpha’s arrival, stating her eagerness to work with her in advancing the vision of His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio and in promoting the interests of Sierra Leone.
In response, Madam Khadijatu Eunice Alpha expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception she received. She affirmed her commitment to serve in the best interest of the country and to contribute meaningfully to the realization of President Bio’s national vision.
With over 14 years of experience in diplomacy, foreign service, and public administration, Madam Alpha brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role.
“As the new Head of Chancery, I am ready to work with all staff in the interest of the High Commission and our beloved country,” she stated. She urged the staff to prepare for the tasks ahead, emphasizing the importance of transparency, accountability, integrity, efficiency, and unity in upholding the reputation of the institution and the positive image of Sierra Leone.
She also called for the support of all team members and assured them of her commitment to collaborative leadership for the overall success of the Mission.
