Sierra Leonean Students in South Korea Commend Ambassador Jibao Mattai

A group of Sierra Leonean students in Seoul, South Korea has on Friday 30th July 2021, paid a courtesy visit to the Sierra Leone Embassy in Seoul, South Korea and commended Ambassador Kathos Jibao Mattai for supporting them.  

On behalf of the students, the president of the Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul Student Council, Mr. Mohamed Serray Jalloh expressed gratitude to the Sierra Leone’s Embassy in South Korea. He commended the Embassy and the Ambassador for their diligent services towards them for allowing them to register with the Embassy. Mr. Jalloh added that his appointment to head the Student Council as President for the 2021 academic year is an achievement not only for him but to all Sierra Leoneans. He further stated that the Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul Student Council was formed in June 2021, adding that he was lucky to be elected to serve in that capacity.  

“As the elected Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul PSPS Student Council President, I urge everyone to support PSPS-YU in our endeavor to transform the globe towards a happier and sustainable future,” he urged colleagues’ students.  

Receiving the students, Ambassador Kathos Jibao Mattai thanked the students for recognizing the efforts of the Embassy and admonished them to take their academic work seriously. Ambassador Mattia went on to say that the government of Sierra Leone through the leadership qualities of His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio has prioritized Education in achieving the Human Capital Development in the country, adding that the Embassy in Seoul, South Korea is helping President Bio to succeed in that trajectory. He continued that the Embassy is opened to all Sierra Leoneans students in South Korea. He congratulated Mr. Mohamed Serray Jalloh for being elected as Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul PSPS 2021 Student Council President.  

Ambassador Mattai has called on Mohamed Serray Jalloh to continue to fly high the green, white and blue flag in the Korea University. 

The President of the Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul PSPS 2021 Student Council was accompanied by Emmanuel Henry Siaffa and Haja Sorie Conteh.
