Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. Juldeh Jalloh has urged Ministries, Departments and Agencies to deliver on President Bio’s 2018 election manifesto promise to the people of Sierra Leone.
VP Juldeh Jalloh used the delivery clinics organized by the Chief Minister, Jacob Jusu Saffa to explain to ministers the importance of the delivery mechanics.
It can be recalled that in the preamble to the SLPP manifesto, the party’s presidential candidate, now President Bio, promised a ‘New Direction’ for Sierra Leone—one that he described as “a united, peaceful, progressive, dynamic, confident, enterprising and happy nation where the people have unlimited access to jobs, food, education and health services and where there is equal justice and equal opportunity for all.”
It was described as the “People’s Manifesto”, the SLPP manifesto broadly promised to deliver in five key areas including; transforming the economy, developing human capital, improving governance, improving infrastructure, and improving fiscal policy and financial management.
To deliver on these promises, VP JuldehJalloh added that Ministers and their ministries need to work hard to deliver on the above which he said will help the government in not only conducting proper planning, but also in effectively and efficiently managing operations in the country.
